Sunday, August 3rd 2025 is a 3-in-1 event:
Richard is turning 30 (in early September, but celebrating 1 month earlier for sun)
Richard is sorry for not keeping in touch (it's not unique to you; meet others in the same boat!)
Richard is probably leaving London (date TBC but I'm navigating a San Francisco move)
📍 Location
Gunnersbury Park, home to legendary events such as:
- Soho House Festival
- Martin Garrix's largest UK headline
- A fortnightly local Stitch, Knit and Craft
Park highlights include:
- 72 hectares of Grade II listed parkland
- pond ducks to feed (sweetcorn, lettuce, defrosted peas, oats, seeds and rice - no bread)
- free museum based in a historic mansion
- a 5 minute walk to Acton Town tube (District & Piccadilly)
- public toilets!
⏰ Schedule
The entertainment will run from roughly 1330 until mid-evening. Come for whichever bits you fancy!

Main requirement: if we've not met, please get them to practice saying “I've heard such good things about you”
🎒 The catch: BYOP*
I'll be providing the games and silent disco equipment - but no further provisions (i.e. drink, food, blanket, Huel).
So: please bring your own wider set of provisions!
In the 5 minute walk to Gunnersbury Park from Acton Town tube station , you will find:
- 4 supermarkets (1x chain, 3x independent)
- take-out offerings: pizza, chippie, Lebanese, Persian
